A native Tennessean, Cynthia began her career as a business educator after receiving a Bachelor and Masters degrees in Business Administration/MBA and Education/MBE from MTSU. Soon after, she landed an international marketing role managing the Far East/South Pacific for the Fortune 500 company, Oneida Ltd.

Her success in that role propelled her to greater roles ultimately orchestrating the successful turnaround of Oneida's Holloware division.  While at Oneida Ltd., Cynthia continued teaching as an adjunct professor of management studies for Syracuse University and formed CCVR Management Consulting to also work with other businesses in the area. Cynthia has served on numerous charitable boards, committees and industry associations.

In 1993 Cynthia moved to Bath County to work for The Bacova Guild, Ltd. where she worked to help propel that company to the national consumer home products stage.  She then joined in an entrepreneurial partnership in Dallas, TX, serving10 years as President of Fairfax Design, Inc. designing, manufacturing and marketing custom home furnishings.

Since 2008 Cynthia has been active in the Bath community as the business owner of Cynthia's Interiors and as a business and community leader serving as President of the Chamber of Commerce and the Warm Springs Valley Garden Club; and board member of the Historical Society.  Since arriving in 1993, she has remained an active member and avid golfer of the Homestead's Golf and Tennis Club.

Cynthia lives in Hot Springs and became a Virginia licensed Real Estate Agent in October 2013 and began as a sales associate selling the Homestead Preserve for Natural Retreats. She joined Bacova Properties in November 2016 and received her Broker's License in March 2017.
